Pakistan Youth Parliament (PYP) and the Youth Advocacy Forum (YAF) stand united against all forms of human rights violations, with particular emphasis on protecting women, children, and other vulnerable members of society.
During a delegation visit to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) in Karachi, led by Yousuf Afridi, Secretary YAF Sindh Chapter, the delegation reaffirmed its commitment to justice, equality, human dignity, and the protection of fundamental rights for every citizen.
The delegation strongly condemned recent incidents of violence and human rights abuses, including the tragic case in Balochistan involving the killing of a young woman in the name of so-called “honour.” Such acts of violence have no place in a just and compassionate society. There is no honour in violence, and no justification for taking an innocent life.
PYP and YAF remain committed to raising awareness, advocating for stronger protections for vulnerable communities, and working alongside relevant institutions to promote accountability and ensure that victims and their families have access to justice.
Through continued advocacy, youth engagement, and institutional collaboration, PYP and YAF seek to empower young people to become responsible voices for human rights, equality, dignity, and social justice, contributing to a safer and more equitable Pakistan.
