Pakistan Youth Parliament proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Ms. Ayesha Yaqoob, President of the Health Council – Pakistan Youth Parliament, on being awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship for the 2025/26 academic year by the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
The Chevening Scholarship is one of the world’s most prestigious and competitive international scholarship programs, recognizing individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential, academic excellence, and a strong commitment to creating meaningful positive change.
Representing Pakistan at the Chevening Orientation in London, Ms. Ayesha joined an exceptional global community of scholars selected from more than 102,000 applicants worldwide. Her selection is a testament to her dedication, leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to transforming healthcare.
As she begins her academic journey at University College London (UCL), pursuing an MSc in Cardiovascular Science, Ms. Ayesha continues to embody the values of leadership, service, and innovation championed by Pakistan Youth Parliament.
Her achievement also reflects the vision of the PYP Health Council — “Together for a Healthier Pakistan” — now being represented on an international platform dedicated to developing future global leaders.
